
"Serbia national football team should learn from the world champion of tennis, and their state-mates, Novak Djokovic, in the fighting," said the president of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS), Tomislav Karadzic, Sunday (13/11).
Novak Djokovic of Serbia's national team does not have the same luck this year. Djokovic jumped on top of world rankings after winning the Australia Open, Wimbledon and Roland Garris and seven other tournaments.
While Serbia has failed to qualify for the final of Euro 2012 and Saturday (12/11) Serbia lost 0-2 to Mexico in a friendly match, which is also the first game as interim coach Radovan Curcic replace Vladimir Petrovic.
"Djokovic is a good example of how to represent your country," said Radovan Karadzic, on Sunday (13/11).
Karadzic said he did not intend to accuse his players do not have the motivation or desire to have the final of European Championship 2012.
"But I'm glad to see Djokovic persistence and thirst for victory in the eyes of the nation," he added.
The next World Cup qualifying in 2014, Serbia is a group with Croatia, Macedonia, Belgium, Scotland and Wales.
